| Research Interests & Teaching Areas: As a cultural anthropologist, Klevar focuses upon stories, those which people tell about themselves and those that others- including other anthropologists- tell about them. Looking within those stories for integers that connect and affirm, that distance and deny, he teaches courses such as American Diversity, Gender and Culture, Social and Cultural Change, Anthropology and Literature, Natives Peoples of North America and Ethnology.
